This dishcloth pattern has a cool texture perfect for wiping and washing surfaces, dishes, and can even be used as a washcloth.
Although acrylic yarn was used cotton would be preferred, but that’s why this a perfect pattern for using up your yarn stash.

Materials:
100% Acrylic Mainstay Basic Yarn (or any worsted weight yarn)
Crochet Hook Size I/9-5.5mm
Yarn Needle
Scissors
Finished Size
Approx. 7 ½” by 7 ½”
Stitches Used:
RS- right side
WS- wrong side
dec- decrease
sl st- slip stitch
sc- single crochet
hdc- half double crochet
dc- double crochet
Special Stitches
fpdc- front post double crochet
1.Yarn over, insert your hook from front to back around the post of the next stitch.
2.Yarn over, pull up a loop, yarn over, pull through 2 loops on your hook.
3.Yarn over pull through remaining 2 looks on your hook.
Bobble st-bobble stitch
1.Yarn over, insert hook into stitch and pull up a loop. Yarn over, pull through two.
2.Repeat number one in the same stitch/space until you have a total of 6 loops on your hook.
3.Yarn over, pull through all 6 loops at once.Pull tight, push bobble forward for more defined look
4.Single crochet in next stitch.

Pattern Notes
- ch3 counts as 1 dc, ch2 counts as 1 hdc
- decrease is the sc and top of bobble together
- row 3 ch3 is 1 dc, fpdc around 2nd post
Pattern
Row 1: Ch 27, starting from 3rd ch on hook make 1 dc in each st across, ch 3 (ch 3 counts as 1 dc), turn (24sts) (RS)
Row 2: 1 dc in each st across, ch 3, turn (24sts) (WS)
Row 3: *1 fpdc in dc post below nxt st, 1 dc, rep from * to last st, 1 dc, ch 2, turn (24sts) (RS)
Row 4: 1 hdc in each st across, ch 3, turn (24sts) (WS)
Row 5: *1 dc in nxt 3 sts, 1 bobble st, 1 dc into same st as sc, rep from * to last bobble, 3 dc in nxt 3 sts, ch 3, turn (28sts) (RS)
Row 6: 1 dc in nxt 3 sts, *1 dc dec in nxt st , 1 dc in nxt 4 sts, rep from * across, ch 3, turn (24sts) (WS)
Row 7-14: rep rows 3-6 twice
Row 15-16 rep rows 3-4 , (row 4 do not ch 3)
Border
Row 17: ch 12 sl st to 1st st, sc around entire square, for the corners 2 sc, sc ch 12 loop, sl st back to the 1st ch 1
Cut yarn, Weave in ends and enjoy!!!
